Blackwater Studios is located in the historic village of Glanworth, Co.Cork. The studio is set in a beautiful location with large gardens just three quarters of a mile from the village. (Glanworth is only 5 miles from Fermoy, just off the main Dublin/Cork road). Access is easy, we're only thirty minutes from Cork city and less than an hour from Limerick, Killarney, Waterford and Clonmel.

Blackwater Studios, Our Equipment
The studio Is based around Focusrite and Onyx Preamps, Mackie THX approved monitors and Beyerdynamic headphones. At the heart of operations is an Apple Mac Pro computer. This allows Blackwater Studios to offer both Pro Tools and Logic Pro systems to clients.
At Blackwater Studios we keep all software right up to date in order to offer clients the best possible service. We offer an extensive range of plug-in effects and virtual instruments, listed here on the right.
We carry a range of Guitar Amps by Vox, Marshall, etc. We also provide a range of Condenser and Dynamic microphones. This is constantly being added to and updated but includes mics by Neumann, Blue, Oktava, SE Electronics, AKG & Shure.
